CMD’s Message
OUR GROUP have been in the forefront of agriculture, textile industry and solar energy business for the last 40 years.
The key to establishing a successful business lies in making strategic decisions in accordance with changing circumstances and taking risks in favourable times. The status our firm enjoys in the market today is a result of our team’s relentless endeavours, unfailing dedication to quality, and immense hard work. With this message, I wish to give our readers a glimpse into our journey, which was no less than a roller-coaster, the obstacles we faced, and the efforts it took to overcome them. Apart from the present solar venture, I wish to share my experiences related to the textile business in the past, and also disclose plans for the future.
The Past: Our Journey So Far
In the year 1980, I, a migrant from a small village, moved to the city and started a home textile production as my first entrepreneurial endeavour. This was only possible after overcoming various challenges during that time. To begin with, SSI unit registries and other essential licenses were difficult to obtain and one had to be ready to grease the palms of government officials at different levels. The bureaucratic system was infested with inspector raj and getting loans and financial assistance was close to impossible as the banking sector was still getting consolidated. The agricultural yield was poor and the demand for commodities was also low. This was due to widespread poverty and unemployment, which severely limited the purchasing power of the Indian people.
Few industries were creating jobs, and air travel was out of reach for the majority of people. Telephones were a symbol of status, and telegrams were still in use as they were one of the few means of fast communication. Private means of transport were a luxury and the masses had to rely on public transport, which, again, was in an underwhelming condition for the longest time. The biggest hurdle, however, was that entrepreneurship was not encouraged by society and government policies did not exist for upcoming entrepreneurs.
However, apart from agriculture, the textile sector was one of the few sectors that held growth potential. Even then, our textile products were still not affordable for a large section of the population. To overcome this, we explored the market in other regions within India and were able to see moderate success.
In order to increase profit, we made some strategic decisions and, about 25 years ago, we adopted the policy of Zero Debt and Zero Interest Payment, which worked in our favour. Over the last 40 years of being in this business, a great many changes have taken place on the national, economic, social, as well as political front. These changes, which have ranged from adverse to favourable, have greatly influenced our decisions, policies, and marketing strategies.
Some of these major changes were:
- The 1991 economic reforms and LPG (Liberalization, Privatization, and Globalization) reforms made it easier for private business owners to do business.
- The demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992 caused political upheaval.
- Challenges caused due to the demonetization of INR 500 and INR 1000 currency notes in 2017.
- The unfavourable circumstances caused due to the GST reforms.
- The economic setback caused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The migrant labour crisis was brought on by multiple waves of the COVID pandemic.
- Advantages from government policies that promoted the ease of doing business, and monetary assistance from the state.

Our Present
For the last 14 years, we have been working with MSMEs/industrial customers on solar power rooftops. During this time, we visited more than 16000 customers from the C & I (commercial & industrial) sector and converted a large number of them into regular customers. This was possible due to our principle of working with faith and teamwork, commitment to quality, and excellent post-sale service.
We use time-tested solar rooftop plants from trusted brand names in order to ensure quality and a high ROI for customers. After 5 years of implementing the policy of FREE AFTER-SALE SERVICES, we were able to serve 111 customers in 52 cities in 12 states, and generate 35+ MW of solar power.
Our strength lies in the long-term relationships we have formed with our fully satisfied customers. We retained old customers and also gained several new customers just by word of mouth. This was possible due to our commitment to providing excellent service, stringent quality control measures, and the sheer craftsmanship and expertise of our entire team.
Future Planning
Grid power is a considerable portion of the running costs of most businesses. In this day and age, the entire MSME sector, as well as the C & I sector, can be self-sufficient with no investment if they choose the RESCO/BOOT model. Adopting solar roof-top power can help them produce enough power for captive use. In addition, with the help of Net Metering, they can feed the extra power into the grid.
Sanchay New Age Developers Private Limited is a fastest growing company today in solar roof top sagment C&1 sector in India. Company evaluated INR 100 crores by a renewable investor fund of Australia and Singapur this fund is committed investments by a investment agreement with SNAD till SNAD will grow its value of INR 1000 cr with in next three year. We already start investment of rooftop in C&I segment. As our upcoming 30 MW solar roof-top projects we are completing in the next 2 years. Out of that we are closing on 3 business models among others, namely:
- Current CAPEX model
- OPEX/LEASE model
- Deferred Payment model wherein offtaker will pay for the cost of equipment in form of EMIs in 5 – 7 years. EMI calculations need to be done to arrive at monthly EMI which is commercially viable for both SNAD, our partner Investor and offtaker.
Waste Water Treatment
Because wastewater is such a serious problem, treating it should be promoted on a regular basis. This will not only help preserve water, opening the path for a healthy and sustainable environment, but it will also protect millions of people from water-borne diseases.
In India, wastewater treatment plants have become an integral pillar of the wastewater management landscape.
We are convinced that the Post COVID era will bring with it huge opportunities & stability for all entrepreneurs. It will also present us with a new set of challenges that most businesses will have to endure. Waste Water Treatment projects are a compulsory subject for C&I sector in PAN India.
As our upcoming Waste Water Treatment projects we are completing in the next 2 years.
The aid package of Rs 20 lakh crores granted by the government has created an environment of stability in the solar rooftop industry & Waste Water Treatment and consequently, even fairly low investments are bound to produce high returns for the MSMEs/industrial customers of the solar rooftop. This is a favourable situation for both solar businesses as well as customers.
We have been assessing our present condition and utilizing our resources efficiently to ensure maximum output. We also plan on introducing newer technologies and improving our skills and techniques so that we can provide our customers with maximum ROI, thereby helping them to scale up their businesses.
We have introduced the following four drives:
- SX6XR Drive®-Future plan
- EV drive®-Future plan
- Solar Rooftop Drive®
- Waste Water Treatment Drive®
We hereby invite stakeholders /investors /financers to be a part of these clean, green, and eco-friendly Solar Rooftop Drives.
