CAPEX-Model Future Plan
We have introduced the Down To Earth (DTE) drive in the CapEx model for solar rooftops in the C & I sector. We have always been proactive in making strategic decisions to adapt and stay relevant in the constantly changing and dynamic global solar PV climate. By doing this, we ensure that all stakeholders and consumers benefit from it.
In 2009, we adopted the strict policy of working with solar rooftops with capacities ranging from 100 kWp to 1000 kWp in the CapEx model in the C & I sector. After more than a decade, we can confidently say that this worked in our favour. However, it wasn’t only because of the right decisions at the right time, but also because of our perseverance in the face of adversities we faced in the form of inflation, demonetization, and the unrest triggered by the introduction of GST reforms. Despite this, we are still lagging behind the target of 100 MW we fixed in 2012 and have only been able to achieve a mere 35 MW.
Due to the abovementioned hurdles (inflation, demonetization, and GST reforms), the probability of the solar rooftop sector achieving the goal of 40000 MW by 2022 seems highly unlikely. However, for more than a decade, we have been concentrating on the C & I sector for solar rooftops as this sector has been the most proactive in switching to solar power.
This infographic report provides an insight into the installed capacity of solar rooftops in India.
With our highly skilled team of more than 250 workers, technicians, engineers, and managers, we can provide our customers with solar rooftop setups of top-notch quality. The majority of the team members are highly experienced and have been associated with us for over a decade. They hold expertise in both I & C (Installation, Erection, Testing, and Commissioning), as well as in post-commissioning O & M.
We also pride ourselves on the fact that we offer a quick troubleshooting time as most issues are fixed by us within 2 hours, while the larger issues are fixed in no more than 12 hours. This applies to all 12 Indian states we are currently present in. The excellent after-sale services offered by us ensure high energy generation and long-term profitability for the end-users. It also shortens the payback period for our customers.
As per the predictions, in the post-covid time, the DISCOMs in India are likely to experience a significant setback. In this case, as a remedial measure, there will be an increase in the commercial and industrial grid tariff to save the DISCOMs. The C & I (commercial & industrial) solar rooftop sector in India has witnessed the fastest growth as it is a lucrative option for MSMEs/industrial consumers. Switching to solar power allows them to save more and increase profitability. This also presents itself as an opportunity as we plan on widening our reach and working towards achieving our target of installing 65 MW of solar rooftops in the CapEx model in the C & I sector.
